DAS RUAS DE SANTA ROSA DE LIMA: MEMÓRIAS E SOCIABILIDADES (1954-2014)

RESUMO
Este artigo
trata da história das ruas mais antigas do município de Santa Rosa de Lima,
especialmente as situadas na área central dessa cidade. O estudo objetiva
interrogar em partes as relações históricas, culturais e sociais que existem
nesse fenômeno que são as principais ruas dessa cidade do Vale do Cotinguiba em
Sergipe. Há, também, três perspectivas que baseiam a construção e elaboração
desse estudo: a regulação estrutural, a constituição histórica desses locais e
a contestação social feita através de entrevista com alguns moradores da
cidade. Portanto, há no artigo a apresentação de algumas entrevistas realizadas
com pessoas idosas dessa cidade onde elas fazem alguns comentários de como
essas ruas mais antigas de Santa Rosa de Lima começaram a surgir, inclusive,
eles explicam também, como testemunhas oculares dos acontecimentos de sua terra
natal, as mudanças de nomes que aconteceram em algumas delas. O estudo mostra
que com o crescimento da população houve também a expansão e criação de outras
ruas na cidade de Santa Rosa. Com isso, o artigo mostra que o fenômeno das ruas
de Santa Rosa de Lima apresenta diversos aspectos sociais, culturais e
históricos que até nos dias atuais ainda encontram-se presentes no cotidiano
dos moradores dessa cidade.

ABSTRACT
This article deals with the history of the oldest streets in the city of
Santa Rosa de Lima, especially those located in the central area of this
city. The study aims to examine in part historical, cultural and social
relations that exist in this phenomenon are the main streets of this city
Cotinguiba Valley in Sergipe. There are also three perspectives that are based
on the construction and design of the study: structural adjustment, the
historical constitution of these sites and the social protest made through
interviews with some residents of the city. So there in the article the
presentation of some interviews with elders of that city where they make some
comments on how these older streets of Santa Rosa de Lima began to emerge,
including, they also explain, as eyewitnesses to the events of his land
christmas, name changes that occurred in some of them. The study shows that
with the growth of the population was also the expansion and creation of other
streets in the city of Santa Rosa. Thus, the article shows that the phenomenon
of Santa Rosa de Lima streets has various social, cultural and historical
aspects that even nowadays still are present in the daily lives of the
residents of this city.
